We took our new kayaks to the river today. Fun trip, but the bottom of the river was bascially bare. So sad but still a fun trip!
On Trish's first trip to the river, she contributed leaps and bounds to the long legacy of amazing river finds...some Mardi Gras beads (very rare...NEVER found at the river), a high quality used bungee cord, and also a slightly bent butter knife.
She was not invited back...j/k...sorta...:op
Congrats to Ella and Caden, who are now official river rats! :o) Hopefully they'll be diving soon, so they can start earning their keep :op
Caden actually found $1 on the last trip, so at least he could pay for lunch!
So I mailed the coin purse I found last Monday, with all the belongings in it, back to the person who's license and credit card was inside. Then today, I decided to just look the person up on facebook, found her, and then found out she's good friends with one of my old friends from high school. One of the other girls who's credit card was also in the purse is also good friends with Brent's cousins Jordan and Tara. Heard back from the girl I mailed it to, who said she got the package in the mail today, and then she apparently called my old friend from high school, Jill, who then facebooked me (and we haven't talked in like 10 years).
